This welcoming and open-minded family lives in a spacious house in Roubaix, in the Lille metropolitan area. They are an active family who enjoy sports, culture and music, and are particularly interested in meeting people from different backgrounds and discovering other cultures. They are also committed to environmental and social issues.
Their home offers several comfortable shared living spaces and a pleasant outdoor courtyard. Music plays a part in family life, with guitars, a trumpet and a piano available in the house, as well as a rowing machine and table football. A cat also lives with the family.
The student will have a private bedroom with a double bed, desk and storage space. The bedrooms are located on the second floor, with a shared bathroom and WC.
The location is very convenient for students: metro, tram and bus stops are only a 5-minute walk away, Roubaix city centre is within walking distance, and Lille city centre can be reached in around 30 minutes by metro.
The family enjoys sharing their daily life with international guests and sees hosting as a wonderful opportunity for cultural exchange, conversation and sharing French family life. They speak fluent English and some Spanish, making it easier for international students to feel at home from the very beginning.
